Who We Are

The Bareen Initiative for Development (BID) is an independent, non-profit development organization dedicated to advancing Afghanistan’s future by engaging with international research, academic and policy communities on strategic issues related to Afghanistan. BID advocates for human rights and women’s rights, as well as empowering youth in these communities. BID aims to create an intellectual space for dialogue on democratic values, human rights and women’s rights situation in Afghanistan, fostering open discussions and awareness to bring about positive change.
